7 Habits & Tips For A Fresh Cozy Spring Home

1. Open Windows In the spring I always open my windows first thing in the morning to air out our home, let air circulate, and let beautiful natural light in. It’s a habit that starts our day and sets vibe in our home.

2. Fresh Scents Simmer lavender, lemons, rosemary, or whatever is in season on the stove. It makes the whole house smell fresh and lovely.

3. Light Ambience Candles, essential oil diffusers, and salt lamps are my favorite ways to add warm light to our home. It’s cozy and inviting.

4. Fresh Flowers & Plants I love fresh flowers and plants in my home, but you can trick the eye with good quality faux plants, or even better, mix and match to create a lush feeling in your home. Plants bring such life and energy into any home. I grow Eden roses which I found at a local nursery. One plant cost $3040 for a 5 gallon pot and produces hundreds of flowers every year. They not only make the yard look beautiful, there is plenty to clip and display inside as well. Certain nurseries sell for a more affordable price point, or you can order them from: https://bit.ly/3yNYIQ

5. Creating Vignettes A vignette (in terms of interior design) is a tiny, curated style statement, made up of a group of objects that are displayed on a shelf, a table, or elsewhere in the home. I love to fill void spaces in the home with DIY’s, collections from thrift and vintage stores, and textures.

6. Add Texture You can incorporate this element through things like rugs, blankets, window treatments, pillows, and more! I personally love textures like linen, knits, waffle blankets etc.

7. Wall Art Wall textiles and art are a great way to fill empty space, and create a beautiful visual motif. Wall art should reflect your unique personality and story. Thanks    / vasseurbeauty   for the idea about the wall art on the TV. LOVE that idea!
