Come watch Arley and me go through the in's and out's of TransGo's new "Tow and Pro" 6L80/6L90 reprogramming kit. This kit is designed to address common failure areas, like pressure regulators, pumps, boost valves, afl valves, pressure switches, stators, select valves, and tcc valves. It's a very comprehensive kit, and Arley and I attempt to figure out what the all modifications change.
This kit is also complimented by suggested "tunes" for those of us who like to tweak the transmission programming.
Arley tested our Cadillac CTSV on the dyno with the stock configuration, Tgo kit only modification, and then Tgo plus tune modifications. At the end of the video, I cover the results of those dyno runs.
Disclaimer there's no doubt that some of my math is probably wrong, but the concepts should still hold true. If you know me, I like to know what a modification does before blindly installing it. That was the purpose of this video to see what's being changed and by how much, and why!
