6.0 Powerstroke Diesel Turbo Problems
In this video I have a 2005 6 Liter Powerstroke with a P0299 Turbo Underboost code, I test drove this truck and during my test drive the wrench light popped and I completely lost all boost. Underboost and Overboost codes set. I will show you how to remove this turbo and explain what causes this. I will also show you how to fix this problem, a lot of techs I have come across sell a new turbo but that is usually not what you need to do, yes it will fix it but you can fix it with only a turbo install kit and some time to do it.
