About us:
Hi, we're A Year to Volunteer (Y2V): We're Shar and Phil, a retired Navy fulltime RV couple with a simple mission; to visit all 50 states and volunteer in each one, fulfilling at least 365 volunteer days on our journey. We RV with a purpose and want you to join in.

Y2V is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that organizes RVfriendly projects, many of which are at state parks and nonprofits, for the simple purpose of helping understaffed and cashstrapped organizations around the country. Our upcoming projects:
Virginia Chippokes State Park in Surry VA (314 April). Tons of awesome projects helping this historic park across the James River from Jamestown!
Raptor Education Group Inc (REGI) a raptor rescue (May 819) we've been here twice before and they need more help to include building a few RV sites. We have availability!!
Minnesota Farmamerica in Waseca MN (516 June). This is a state run educational institution and we tackling a bunch of upgrades for them.
Colorado (1122 Sep) State Forest State Park. We will help this park with some renovations at 10000 feet! We're up for the challenge!
