We took advantage of the new landfill cell for an asbestos disposal job. This was the perfect time for us to build a new landfill ramp down to the cell so we can properly dispose of these hazardous materials. Landfill heavy equipment operator.

In this video, Rolando's on the Volvo 290 excavator. The asbestos job came about when an old textile mill was recently being demoed. (Back in the day, asbestos was used as a fire retardant build material back in the day, before it was realized to be a majorly hazardous cancercausing material.) This type of asbestos is referred to as friable asbestos. Friable means that the asbestos can easily be crushed, crumbled, pulverized or turned to powder with the ordinary force of a human hand.
