5 Ways to Tie a Tie Knot.

Three of these knots the Four In Hand, the Victoria, and the Prince Albert, are asymmetrical and considered to be informal knots, whilst the Half Windsor and the Full Windsor are symmetrical and considered to be formal knots.

I also talk you through the different types of shirt collars, and explain why the different tie knots suit different collars.

We explore the different styles of ties, both in colour and material, and touch on why we might choose a certain style of tie to wear with a particular shirt or jacket. The etiquette regarding club, association and regimental ties is also discussed.

Then we move onto the tie knots themselves, how to tie them, what we are looking for in the finished knot and to what length the tie should ideally fall.
