서울특별시 서초구 신반포로 194 (반포동)에 있는 고속버스 터미널. 1976년 준공해 1981년에 강남터미널 기반 시설을 완공했다.

지방에서 서울로 올라오는 이들에게 있어서 철도의 종점에 서울역(경부선), 용산역(호남선), 수서역(수서평택고속선), 청량리역(중앙선)이 있다면, 고속버스의 종점에는 서부경남을 제외한 경상도, 강원도 전 지역에서 오고 가는 서울고속버스터미널(경부선, 영동선)이 있으며, 옆에는 전라도 지역에서 오고 가는 센트럴시티터미널(호남선)이 있다고 할 정도로 서울 교통을 책임지는 핵심 관문 중 한 곳이다. 국내에서 운행 노선이 가장 많은 고속버스 터미널이다.
