Haikou, also known as "Coconut City", is a prefecturelevel city and provincial capital under the jurisdiction of Hainan Province, a fulcrum city of the national "Belt and Road" strategy, and the core city of Hainan Free Trade Port. Between 110°42′, it is located in the north of Hainan Island, adjacent to Wenchang in the east, Chengmai in the west, Ding'an in the south, and Qiongzhou Strait in the north.
