Why would you want a Max Mod? Well, as I mentioned the stabilization on the GoPro is incredible BUT to get such good stabilization it crops in on the shot and in some situations you could miss out on the shot or not get the full immersive video you are expecting with a GoPro. The MAX mod is a fisheye shape which is going to widen the shot allowing for that wide immersive point of view you get with a GoPro. So now you can get extra wide and extra stable footage.
