When we debuted our Chevy 454 SS OBS shop truck at Shift Culture a little while back, we asked y'all what you thought we should do with this iconic truck. An overwhelming majority of you guys told us "DON'T YOU DARE TAKE OUT THAT BIG BLOCK!" So, we're listening to you guys, and instead of swapping out the stock motor in this Chevy 1500, we're giving it a complete overhaul! Thanks to JEGS, we were able to get everything we need to push 550 horsepower in just one click! We can't just install this RPM Power Pack kit without getting a baseline for our truck though. So we took the 454 over to our friends at Blow By Racing, stuck the Chevy on the dyno and put down three runs that got us a whopping 186 horsepower! And while that starting number isn't very impressive, what will be are the numbers that come out of this big block chevy once all of our upgrades are done!
