This is Gizmo and Cody that between the two of them there are eight or nine slaps or hits to the shoulders and the head. That's Gizmo on the left side and he is the instigator in this conflict. Listen closely and you will hear his fierce tiny growls.

He is always busy at something and makes you laugh a lot. He will not share his food and God forbid when any kitten gets near his plate. You have to give Cody credit as he stands his ground and gets one really good swat in there.

Gizmo is so lovable despite his dinner time aggressive behavior. He loves to sit on my lap or up on my chest (while he's so small) and cuddles into my neck pushing his little pink nose on my face all the while purring. Both he and his sister Calie do the same thing. Hmm... so does Millie.

Sadly for me these five little guys are leaving this weekend and are going to Vancouver for the adoption process. Two of them namely Calie and Gizmo have adoptive parents anxiously waiting to pick them up and take them home so I am really happy for them. The other three I am positive will have homes as soon their profiles hit the VOKRA website if not before just as Calie and Gizmo have done.

I love being a volunteer for the VOKRA organization. It is very rewarding knowing that you are helping these little critters in find loving homes.
