Boat life is a constant mixture of ups and downs. It is not the highlight reel you see on YouTube: it is sometimes wet and lonely and stressful. And just because there are downsides, that doesn't negate the existence of all the upsides: there's a reason why we've sacrificed so much to live on a boat. But to assume that it's all sundowners and dolphins would be naive, and in this video I attempt to share some of the realities of boat life that you will undoubtedly experience once you move on board and begin cruising.
