In search of Wild Trout we head out for 4 days on an ice out spring fishing and camping trip in the remote wilderness of Canada's backcountry. Canoe camping allows for the access of otherwise inaccessible lakes and wild spaces. In Northern Ontario Canada Crown Land Camping is free but campsites are not marked or plotted, portages are often non existent and no previous notes can be drawn upon but this often results in a more wilderness experience of true adventure, which we were fortunate enough to experience. Delicious meals and great stories were shared around the campfire what a great trip.
