The new Amazon Echo Dot 5 generation and Dot with Clock bring 3 new updates to your home. First we have twice the bass of the previous generation. Second you can now use your Amazon Echo Dot 5, and soon 4th generation, as a WiFi extender for Eero routers. Each Echo would add up to 1000 sqft of coverage. The third reason to buy are the new sensors that include a new accelerometer for tap gestures. You can use tap to snooze an alarm, play or pause music or end a call. The new Echo Dot 5th generation also includes a new temperature sensor and occupancy sensor using ultrasound. The temperature and ultrasonic sensor can trigger routines.
