Pitta Dosha (Sensitive Skin):
Strawberry, Honey, and Cocoa Powder Mask: Rich in salicylic acid, strawberries brighten skin and reduce inflammation. Honey locks in moisture and soothes irritation, while cocoa powder improves skin elasticity.
Prepare and apply the mask: Mash 2 ripe strawberries, mix with 1 tbsp honey and 1 tsp cocoa powder. Apply on cleansed face, leave for 1520 minutes, then rinse off. Use once or twice a week.
Vata Dosha (Dry, Sensitive Skin):
Banana, Turmeric, and Honey Mask: Banana hydrates and nourishes skin, turmeric calms irritation and evens skin tone, while honey moisturizes and heals.
Prepare and apply the mask: Mash half a ripe banana, mix with 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 tbsp honey. Apply on clean face, leave for 1015 minutes, then rinse off. Use once or twice a week.
Kapha Dosha (Oily Skin):
Orange, Honey, Turmeric, and Curd Mask: Oranges control excess oil production, honey moisturizes, turmeric minimizes pores, and curd gently exfoliates.
Prepare and apply the mask: Mix ½ tbsp orange juice, 1/4 tbsp honey, 1/2 tsp turmeric, and 1/4 tbsp curd. Apply on face and neck, leave for 1520 minutes, then rinse off. Use twice a week.
Remember to patch test each mask before use. In addition to these masks, maintain healthy skin by staying hydrated, consuming fruits and vegetables, managing stress, getting enough sleep, and protecting your skin from sunlight.
