2. Collision Coverage is optional, and covers accidentrelated damage to your own property whether you caused the accident or the knucklehead who caused doesn’t have eneough insurance.

3. Comprehensive coverage is also optional, and covers damage to your property regardless of how it was caused — accident, storm, vandalism, etc. It’s for this reason comprehensive coverage is the MOST important coverage to have.
