In order for a motorcycle to be on the road (legally), the owner needs to pay for :
OMV (Open Market Value)
Cost of Import
LTA Homologation Test
GST (Goods and Service Tax)
ARF (Additional Registration Fee)
Registration Fee
Road Tax
Insurance
IU (Invehicle unit)
VRN (Vehicle Registered Number) Plate

Base on my personal research, a motorcycle in Singapore will cost anywhere from 2x to 4x as compared with the manufacturer's advertised MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price).
