See links below for material. In this video, I'll show you how I modified the stock Kubota B2601 and B2601 brush guard and added some perforated steel to better protect my hood and grill from damage. I think the Kubota B2301 uses the same brush guard. All too often, branches fit through the stock brush guard and can damage your tractor. Many people use expanded metal, which works great. I wanted to find a material that offered a more factory look. I think I found it with perforated steel. I'll be using many of my Dewalt 20v max cordless tools, and my Hobart Handler 140 MIG welder to complete this project. I hope you enjoy it. This mod will likely be useful for other tractors including John Deere, Mahindra, Koiti, and other Kubota series like the BX, LX, MX, and M series tractors. The new Kubota LX series looks like it has a more significant brush guard from the factory. Let me know what you think!
