The Porsche Panamera 2024 is here and not surprisingly, very evolutionary to its previous generations! However, this time there are more sharp edges, making it resemble a Porsche Taycan from certain angles.

Now thanks to its engine layout and its nature, I remain convinced it was meant to compete against the Mercedes SClass AMG S63, BMW M760, or Audi S8.

Porsche is best known for the Porsche 911 models. The first Porsche Panamera was released in the very late 2000s, similar timing to when BMW released the new generation 7Series. In the mid 2000s, Mercedes released the new SClass.

Mercedes saw birth and success from trucks and limousines.
BMW saw birth and success from small economy cars that were pleasant to drive.
The Volkswagen Group (including Porsche), saw birth and success from fastback designs.
