Ongetwijfeld hebben de meesten onder jullie uit diverse mediaberichten kunnen vernemen dat Port of Rotterdam zich vereerd zag met het eerste bezoek van ONE INNOVATION.
ONE staat voor Ocean Network Express. Het is een containerrederij die beheerd wordt door drie Japanse rederijen Nippon Yusen Kaisha Line (NYK), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines en K Line en werd geformeerd als een joint venture in 2017.
De volledig in roze containers gehulde ONE INNOVATION zal niemand ontgaan zijn. Voor deze maiden voyage heeft de Japanse rederij dit speciaal gedaan om de duurzame innovaties van het schip onder de aandacht te brengen. In Japan brengt ‘pinku’ geluk. Volgens een oude Japanse traditie trekken families er op uit als de roze bloesem aan de kersenbomen staat. Daarmee luiden ze samen een voorspoedige periode in.
