Acura redesigned the MDX for 2022, skipping the 2021 model year. The new SUV shares its styling and technology with the recently revamped RDX and TLX models.

Acura is on a tear updating its small lineup of cars and SUVs. Among them is the threerow MDX, whose recent overhaul brings lots of goodies. This SUV takes its handsome styling cues from the compact RDX SUV and TLX sedan, and the cabin boasts luxury materials and features worthy of Acura's premium badge. The base powertrain for this frontdriver consists of a 290hp 3.5liter V6 and a 10speed automatic, and allwheel drive is available. But select the performanceoriented Type S model and you'll get a turbocharged 355hp 3.0liter V6 and standard allwheel drive.

The 2022 MDX with Technology Package features keyless entry. Just place your hand inside the handle and the vehicle unlocks. Other options include LED ambient lighting and rear window shades. Secondrow seating includes 3 more inches in legroom with a configurable bench seating to create captain chair seating. Rear storage has increased with a reversible floorboard to give you options in storage. A new feature on the 2022 MDX is the panoramic moonroof. Also on the inside, you'll find Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. You can also select between different drive modes; snow, comfort, normal, sport, or individual.
