Brief video showing the mess that lies behind the rear seat of a 20192021 Silverado 1500. Lots of wires, connectors, and modules that require silencing if you want a rattlefree ride.

* what I thought was the heated seat module is actually the Video Control Module (VCM) that has the coax from the 360 degree cameras plug into it.

Follow up:

I put small dabs of RTV on all the loose clips and a small dab on top and bottom of the two rear vents to keep everything quiet.

For the loose connector on the drivers side, I unplugged and wrapped electric tape around the male connector to tighten it up.

Didn’t do anything with the three hooks BUT I did cut three small sections of a fast food straw and split to fit around the metal loops on the seat that engage the hooks.

Took off the VCM and put some rubber washers and a small foam pad so no more metal to metal contract rattle.

After all this, the back area is very quiet and rattlefree.
