This is a capture in time of my 2018 trip to Colombia. Specifically, this video is Part I about the city of Bogota. Future videos will cover Medellín and Cartagena. I stayed at Hotel Habitel near the airport. The next day I traveled to the hotel I booked in Chapinero district called Hotel ESTELAR Suites Jones on 61 Calle. I took an uber through La Candelaria and rode the telefrico to Monserrate that takes you to some volcanoes. I struggled with the altitude sickness but still had a great time. I then moved hotels to 93 Calle. I stayed at Hotel Estelar Windsor House. I went and ` the street market in Usaquén and walked back to my Hotel. I included commentary that I had recorded at the time. Remember this is my first trip outside the country so I may not have everything figured out. My views evolve, this is a moment in time. I welcome comments and any improvements to my understanding.
