The 2series picks up where the 1series left off. At the top of the heap is the M235i (which is now referred to as the M240i). Though it's not quite the M2, it's the top range 2 series you can get before graduating to an actual M car. But it might just be the more practical choice. You get plenty of power, at 320 horsepower, along with sport tuned suspension and steering. But you also get the conveniences of driving a nonM car, such as efficient ecopro drive modes. The M235i offers you the best of both worlds, an untamed beast and a hybrid style cruiser. Plus, it's a worthy successor to the 1series. Both cars are the only modern BMW's that cater to the true BMW driving enthusiast (in my humble opinion!)
