In this video I use 4 separate brands' to create 1 assembly, a push button style LED hidden bumper bar, complete with push button, wiring harness, mounting brackets, and the LED bar itself.

The components in this setup are an XJMOTO blue LED push button "LED LIGHT BAR" with alternative wiring patterns, a Nilight dual output wiring harness complete with additional connectors, Cali Raised (or CaliRaised) 20052015 Toyota Tacoma bumper mounting brackets, and last but CERTAINLY not least (this has the biggest savings in the whole kit), an AKD 30" LED light bar!

The XJMOTO LED push button is a little tricky. It comes with it's own factory wiring harness with 4 wires installed into the harness, but these wires can be connected in a number of combinations to create the following options: 1. One or the other LED light on the button is ON or OFF, when the button is OFF only 1 LED is illuminated on the button, but when the button is pushed to ON, the alternate LED also illuminates. It's your choice to have the top LED bar diagram lit up with the button OFF, or the bottom "LED LIGHT BAR" lettering lit up with the button OFF, then both of them are ON with the button pressed ON. In all cases the light bar behind the front bumper needs to come ON when the button is pushed in (ON). 2. The 1st option only works if you wire the positive end of the Nilight wiring kit to a fuse in the fuse box for an item that only turns ON when the vehicle is turned ON, like the Daytime Running Lights, usually marked DRL. If you wire this option into the battery, you're going to have an LED that stays ON even when the truck is OFF, causing it to run down the battery. So, as described in the video from numerous other reviews, I chose to wire the assembly into the battery and have BOTH top and bottom OFF when the button is OFF, and both are ON when the button is ON. The wiring for my choice is as follows:
Black from XJMOTO button goes to black of Nilight wiring
Green from XJMOTO button goes to red of Nilight wiring
White and Red from XJMOTO button goes to White of Nilight wiring

The Nilight wiring kit is pretty straight forward once you figure out your XJMOTO button wiring options, and wiring to the AKD LED bar is as simple as Red to Red and Black to Black. There is another set of leads that are already capped with connectors for whatever else you may want to attach to the assembly so that at the same time you power on your LED bar you can also power on another accessory. I'll let you know once I make that choice because I'll be posting another installation video! You need to run the Nilight wires from the harness through the firewall, which I do by cutting a slot in the rubber boot on the driver side firewall with an Xacto knife and removing the connector from the end of the red/black/white wires so I can feed them through the firewall from the cab, then I reinstall the connector on the end of the 3 wires, making sure to install them in the same orientation as I removed them (I take a picture of the connector 1st, before removing the ends).

The mounting brackets by Cali Raised are selfexplanatory, just follow the video.

The AKD light bar is 30", and as I mentioned in the video the Cali Raised mounts are supposed to work with a 32" Cali Raised light bar. The Cali Raised light bar suggested with the mounts I got was $320. The AKD light bar came in at $54.99. In order to make the AKD 30" bar work with the 32" Cali Raised mounts, I opted to use some 5/8" plastic standoffs from a TV mounting kit I didn't use for that application. The outside ends of the AKD LED bar have rosettes, a form of stamped teeth that provide a locking grip with the mounting plates that came with the AKD LED bar. Instead of mounting the AKD LED bar mounting plates directly to the end of the AKD LED bar itself, I inserted the plastic standoffs I had between them, creating a toothed lock on either side of the plastic standoffs, creating a better grip so the AKD LED bar won't sag over time with vibration/weight. The AKD bar came with it's own Allen head bolts, which I used the longer set so it fit through the mounting plates and standoffs into the ends of the AKD LED bar. Tight and firm!

I recommend purchasing all of these products!
