I present to you some more cassette tapes recorded off of Atlanta’s 94Q “Jazz Flavours” in mid 1987. I have a whole box of unmarked or illegiblylabeled tapes, most of which contain recordings off of 94Q. I finally finished transferring these to the computer from my JVC cassette doubledecker. You will hear brief snippets of hosts Cliff Smith, as well as Russ Davis before the tape was paused. Listening to these, like always, brings much nostalgia remembering the great music that used to be played on the radio. But also, listening to these reminds me of how much lost music there is out there still. There are several unknown tracks on these, though I used to know who some of them were at one time. The pencil writing on the cassettes is difficult to decipher lol. One song on here that really takes me back is "White Water" by Lee Ritenour. That's been my 2nd favorite by him since his "Soaring" in '86. Enjoy these recordings!
