My subscribers who have been enjoying “outtake” clips from 1979 have been asking me to present the entire film of "intakes". The film is called The Information Society and it ran on PBS in the prime time in 1980. My colleague and friend Marc Porat made this film with me based in part on his doctoral thesis. The ideas presented in it and shown on national television were new to almost everyone at that time.
