Barr Notes info:
Among the most soughtafter U.S. paper money of the late 1960s are the shortlived "Barr" Notes. The bills feature the signature of then Secretary of the Treasury, Joseph W. Barr. Barr had a relatively short term of office, the shortest of anyone that has held the position (December 21, 1968 January 20,1969), leading to hoarding of these $1 Secretary Barr Notes. These notes are Series 1963B.
