With a long gap between videos, an update was needed. After some oil loss issues, the troubleshooting ended with defective valve seals (again) and a stubborn valve cover gasket. With the valve seals replaced, compression test done, leak down test done, the engine is confirmed solid and ready for upgrades.
Today a D1 Spec Aluminium Oil Catch Can was installed. The can was fastened to the passenger side of the block with a custom mount. The can was filled with a stainless steel scrubber for maximum oil trapping.
