My 1949 Chevy 3100 with the 54 235 engine gets a new Pertronix high energy electronic distributor, high energy coil and plug wires. I go through the steps on preparing the engine for the swap, checking compatibility and installing the new devices.

I want to thank Pertronix for providing the prototype Flame Thrower electronic distributor with the Igniter II module and Flame Thrower II high energy coil giving me the opportunity to test and evaluate this setup on a modified Stovebolt series 235 engine.
