With every season come new fashion trends and, of course, new colors that all of the fast fashion brands jump on. Whether it’s rose gold, millennial pink or rustic orange, there’s always something new to buy, and it can be tempting to try to keep up by changing your color palette every six months.

And that’s totally fine. If you want to experiment with color and wear whatever color is trending, I say go for it. After all, the whole point is to wear clothes that make you feel like a million bucks. But it’s also okay to stick with a few tried and true colors that are extremely versatile and will never go out of style.

For me, these are brown, blue and green. And by brown, I really mean all shades of brown you know, earth tones like tan, camel and oatmeal. If you build a wardrobe full of browns, blues and greens, you’ll never struggle to put together a great outfit.

My Sizes

I'm 5'6" with shoes on and about 123 lbs after dinner. I have a 34" chest; I usually wear XS tops and 28x28 pants (sometimes hemmed to 27").
