What do Dodos, Giant Ground Sloths and Aurochs have in common? They are all extinct. But while some longgone animals are like my dignity, definitely well and truly dead, some are like Andy Kauffman: suspected of still being out there somewhere. These are extinct animals that may actually still be alive!
