12 Things Only Bullmastiff Dog Owners Understand

A Bullmastiff's head is massive and squareshaped, with a large black muzzle and deep wrinkles around the cheeks and brows. The ears are small and thin, set high on the head. The eyes are wideset and dark amber in color.

A Bullmastiff's neck is thick but not excessively so, leading down to its broad chest and solid shoulders. It has wellboned legs with a heavy coat of loose skin covering them from shoulder to hock. The tail is set low on the body, thick at the base and tapering gradually towards the tip.

A Bullmastiff's coat looks coarse but should feel smooth when stroked against the grain; it also lays flat against the body.
