Sol Shine Physical Therapy

Lorena Vargas explains the "typical" motor development of the 10monthold baby. She shows the different types of sitting and how this is a transitional position to other positions such as four points, crawling, semikneeling and standing. At 10 months old, babies stand up and use one hand to stabilize while using the other one to play. When they walk sideways or "cruise" they use one or both hands to maintain balance.
