Rim Rua Kratha Ron Buffet (ริมรั้วกระทะร้อน) There are probably a dozen or so massive seafood buffets around Hat Yai (หาดใหญ่), but I chose Rim Rua Kratha Ron Buffet (ริมรั้วกระทะร้อน), a nice leisure restaurant that’s gigantic. It’s a huge Thai family restaurant, and you can choose to sit outside in the yard, under the seafood area, or in the gymnasium sized meat area.

You have 2 options, the seafood buffet costs 339 THB (which is $10.88) for all you can eat crab, shellfish, fish, squid, shrimp, horseshoe crab salad and many more. And the 199 THB option (หมูกระทะ) which is lots of pork, meat, hot dogs, all the vegetables, some Thai food dishes, desserts, and more. If you choose the seafood option, you get both the seafood buffet section and the meat buffet section.

The best thing about this street food buffet is that you get to cook everything in front of you on your table grilling and boiling seafood right in front of your face while you’re eating it. It’s a similar experience to buffets across Thailand, but Hat Yai has truly perfected the art of the all you can eat Thai seafood buffet.
