1 day caring for elephants at an elephant resort in Chiang Mai is a must do if you visit Thailand. In the north of that country there are sanctuaries, camps and resorts for elephants. I stayed at a resort where I was able to spend a day with these animals and not only learned what an elephant is like, but I was also able to bathe an elephant and go on walks through the jungle with the elephants.
