This channel is dedicated to promoting HAM radio hobby, the channel is focused on the FT991A which originally to teach my dad Ron (K5EHL) how to use the radio. Dad was a HAM back in the late 1960’s around the time I was born, and radios were nothing like what Dad used in Fort Worth.

I made a couple of videos, people seem to enjoy them, so I focused on learning making videos on the FT991A and other aspects of the hobby I'm learning to help interest.

I became a HAM when the COVID started in March 2020 I started studying for my technician license, I took my test online through a school New England Sci Tech the class was over zoom later I took my General Class in September 2020 TX and recently in October 2022 I got my Extra ticket from the same local VE testing team in Abilene. I enjoy the hobby and the comradery it has in the community. It’s nice to make friends right away such as building a station, testing radios and learning about other aspects from others knowledge.
