I'm a daily wearer of historical clothing and a Volga Tatar. I’m also a lifelong Buddhist.

On this channel, I show how my various interests can intersect, and discuss all things historical fashion and how we can interact with fashion in a more compassionate, sustainable, and connected way.

It’s all about historical style not historical values here.

For my own everyday clothing, I tend to wear a lot of Victorian (especially working class) clothing, as well as incorporating and reconstructing more of my indigenous dress.

All the garments I make for myself are 100% handstitched and take quite a while to construct! I love to hand sew because I feel it’s a wonderful way to connect with the process of sewing.
