Kommetjie is a 100 year old seaside village, 45 minutes drive from Cape Town City Center, Cape Town International Airport, and Cape Point Nature Reserve. Nestled between Slangkop Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, its name is derived from the Afrikaans word for “little Bowl”, inspired by the natural tidal pool.
