Welcome to the farm as Val shares recipes & her Southern country cooking with you. She loves sharing anything from simple, quick & easy meals to teaching the basics of cooking from scratch. She loves growing her own food in her raised bed gardens & sharing that knowledge with you. She teaches how to preserve food by canning & freezing whether it be from the garden, the farmers market, or from the store. She considers "fast food" as food from her freezer! She is the wife to "Sweet Hunter" as she loves to call him & they have been married almost 45 years & have a big family that they adore. They are both retired and very thankful. While she is collecting eggs from her chickens or hanging clothes on the line, you can find Sweet Hunter in the back yard fishing or out hunting! They encourage you to never give up & appreciate every day because it is a gift. Faith, Family, Friends & Home are the most important things in their lives.
