This channel provides informational, educational and historical information about lakes in Washington State that have citizen organized Lake Associations, Lake Special Districts and Lake Management Districts where local lake residents voluntarily pay additional assessments, outside the normal property taxes to provide funding and stewardship for improving and sustaining water quality in our lakes for fish, wildlife and recreational opportunities. The majority of these efforts are done by volunteers.
