We promote Conservation the Idaho Way: via voluntary action, not regulatory mandates. We incentivize responsible stewardship by providing cost sharing and technical expertise. Proactive, nonregulatory projects are beneficial because they address issues of concern and help avoid costly lawsuits and onerous regulations.

With our partners local soil and water conservation districts, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and others we assist farmers and ranchers engaged in voluntary stewardship activities. We are the heartbeat of voluntary conservation and partners in Idaho's oldest conservation movement.
