1 Peter 4:10 Hello! I am Grant Rettig. Father of two handsome boys, Coowner of Rettig Co., Inc., Birder and Author of Christian the Cardinal Children's Book Series. I started birding at the age of 11 after taking a 4H project called Ohio birds. Birding has taken me all across the country and shaped my life to where I am today. While my wife Brittany and I were coming up with Elf on the Shelf ideas for our youngest child, I had the idea to write a children's book and "Christian the Cardinal" was created.
