Hi there! I’m John. I want to take the opportunity to inform a little about the content on my fishing channel.

I love flyfishing for salmon and sea trout with a double handed fly rod. My absolute favorite water is the river Mörrum. This scenic river situated in southern Sweden offers magnificent nature and fantastic fishing opportunities for large salmon and sea trout.

I started DrJohnTheAngler back in 2011 and my intention was to document my fishing in short videos only equipped with an action cam.
Beginning with the bite and then take the viewer trough the wild action all the way to the end of the fight where I hopefully would be able to catch and realease the fish.

I think I’ve done pretty good so far. It’s all there. The best bites, the most furious fish attacks and the toughest fish.

In the winter i fish for Pike, filming under water with my action cam. Amazing underwater footage.
