Mary Ashley Krogh (MAK) and Owen Chikazawa (just Owen) met in 2008 at Savannah College of Art and Design. They’ve been inseparable ever since both as a couple and as creative collaborators. After deciding to take to the road to live closer to the outdoors that inspires them and their work, they’ve been traveling fulltime for seven and a half years. Their boundless curiosity for the world, its people and wildlife inspire their film and photography work. MAK & Owen produce video series that examine the personal development that comes from travel and a life spent in the outdoors.
