The fluid art pour painting technique uses a variety of pouring mediums mixed with acrylic paint to achieve the beautiful flow like quality you will find in my paintings. For me, pour painting is a practice, much like yoga, meditation, or prayer that teaches me to let go of control and quite literally go with the flow. As much as I plan out my colors and composition the paints always take on a life of their own, and it is my place, as the artist to see their full potential. Likewise, as much as I plan out the events of my life, true peace will never come by trying to maintain full control. In my paintings and in my life, I look to make something beautiful, even out of the messiest situations. God has been so faithful in my journey.
